History of NBA

If you are a basketball player you must have heard the NBA. NBA is the most prestigious basketball league in the world. Here's a history of the formation of the most famous NBA served until now.

In 1946, the Basketball Association of America (BAA) was established. The first match was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Between the Toronto Huskies and New York Knickerbockers on November 1, 1946. After three seasons in the year 1949 precisely, BAA merged with the National Basketball League to form the National Basketball Association (NBA). In 1967, the existence of an upstart organization, the American Basketball Association could threaten the existence of the NBA until the ABA-NBA finally joined in 1976. And until now the NBA is a professional basketball league at the highest in the world in terms of popularity, salaries of the players, talent, and the level of competition.
